Add Grab Bars to Kohler or Sterling Shower Units

Grab bars may be added to a shower unit only if it has age-in-place backers as backers provide the necessary support for attaching grab bars.

Do not install grab bars on a shower unit that does not have age-in-place backers because the wall alone will not be able to provide adequate support.

For shower units with age-in-place backers, refer to the product specification sheet to determine the location of the backers.
