Remove the Handles for the Taboret Faucet

To remove the handle for the widespread Taboret bathroom, bidet, kitchen or entertainment faucet, refer to the following directions.

Square or Swirl Handle

  1. Hold on to the handle while turning the skirt counterclockwise by hand or with a strap wrench, taking care to protect all finish surfaces.
  2. Remove any remaining components to expose the valve. Set all parts aside for re-use.
  3. The valve can now be replaced or other repairs made.
  4. Reassemble handle parts in reverse order.

Lever or Tee Handle

  1. Remove the end caps from both ends of the lever, turning counterclockwise by hand or with a strap wrench, taking care to protect all finish surfaces.
  2. Remove the setscrews from inside the handle with a 1/8" hex wrench. 
  3. Lift off the center post to expose the screw.
  4. Remove the Philips screw and any remaining components to expose the valve. Set parts aside for re-use.
  5. The valve can now be replaced or other repairs made.
  6. Reassemble parts in reverse order.

Note: Remove mineral deposits with a 50/50 white vinegar and warm water solution.
