Remove the Handles for the Devonshire Bathroom Faucet

To remove the handles for the Devonshire widespread or centerset bathroom faucets or bidet faucets, refer to the following directions.

Widespread Faucet Handle Removal:

  1. Hold the handle with one hand. Using your other hand, turn the skirt, the decorative flared piece below the handle, counterclockwise. A strap wrench may also be used, taking care to protect all finish surfaces.
  2. Remove any remaining components to expose the valve. Set all parts aside for re-use.
  3. The valve can now be replaced or other repairs made.
  4. Reassemble handle parts in reverse order.

Note: Remove mineral deposits with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and warm water.

 

Centerset Faucet Handle Removal:

To remove the handle for the centerset Devonshire bathroom faucet, refer to the following directions.

 

Style 1 Style 2
  1. Hold on to the handle while turning the skirt counterclockwise by hand or with a strap wrench, taking care to protect all finish surfaces.
  2. Remove any remaining components to expose the valve. Set all parts aside for re-use.
  3. The valve can now be replaced or other repairs made.
  4. Reassemble handle parts in reverse order.
  1. Use a 3/32" hex wrench to loosen the set screw located in the back of the lever handle.
  2. Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the screw in the bonnet. Set all parts aside for re-use.
  3. The valve can now be replaced or other repairs made.
  4. Reassemble handle parts in reverse order.

Note: Remove mineral deposits with a 50/50 white vinegar and warm water solution.
