Replace Seals on a Single-Control Kitchen Faucet

Follow the steps below to install a seal kit (o-rings and bearings) in a single control kitchen faucet. 

1. Turn off the water supply to your kitchen faucet.
2. Remove the plug button located on the back of the handle (Fig. 1).
3. Loosen the small screw beneath the button using a hex wrench (Fig. 2).
4. Remove the handle.
5. Twist the bonnet, the decorative covering beneath the handle, counterclockwise to remove and expose the valve and mounting nut (Fig. 3) and (Fig. 4).
6. Grasp toward the base of the faucet and the spout and pull straight up to remove the spout.
7. Replace the black o-rings and white plastic bearings found around the faucet body, making sure to generously lubricate the o-rings and bearings with the included silicone based lubricant (Fig. 5) and (Fig. 6).
8. Slide the spout back on the faucet body and reassemble the remainder of the faucet.
