See the steps below for disconnecting your pull-out kitchen faucet quick connect hose.
First, identify the style of your quick connect hose.
Copper Tube with White Plastic Connector (Collet) Inside of Tube (Fig 1).
Push the black nylon hose into the white connector. Hold the bottom of the connector in while pulling down on the black hose.

Push the black nylon hose into the white connector. Hold the bottom of the connector in while pulling down on the black hose.

Push the grey clip in and pull on the black hose to disconnect.

White Plastic Connector with Tabs on Side (Fig 4).
Squeeze the tabs on the side and pull down to remove.
To replace the quick connect as a service part, unthread the white connector from the opposite ends of the tabs (Fig 5).

Black Plastic Connector with Two White Tabs (Fig 6).
The two white tabs within the top of the black connector must be compressed. Then the black connector can be pulled over the white tabs to remove the hose (Fig 7).
Tips for removing: Push one of the white tabs in and twist the black connector slightly. This keeps the first white tab pushed in. Then push the other white tab in and remove.
A flat head screwdriver may also be used to push the white tabs in on each side. Lightly pull down on the black connector while pushing in the white tabs.
When installing a new hose, ensure that black nylon hose is threaded tightly into the black connector or leaking may occur.
